The Problem:
More than 3.15 billion Children’s Clothing Articles are thrown away every year. Children’s clothing items have a the shortest lifespan (compared to men’s and women’s clothing) due to difficulty repairing, weak materials and construction, and children’s clothing already subject to outgrowing, wear and tear.

Sketch Ideation:
Through a roughly sketched model of the clothing form, I was able to determine the best, most effective way for users to easily transform the clothing item so it can size up with the child was to allow for the growth points to be expandable using a snap mechanism and snap-able additions.
